Please note that not all stains may be removed, it is dependent on the type of staining, when it occurred and whether or not efforts have been made to remove the staining previously.
We also clean curtains. Generally the cleaning of curtains is carried out in situ and we will adopt the most appropriate cleaning method dependant on the type of fabric and level of soiling.
We realise this is a matter of choice for individuals, but as professional carpet and upholstery cleaners we would always recommend protecting your newly cleaned carpets, upholstery and rugs. Protection can act as a barrier against staining and re-soiling and helps to keep your soft furnishings cleaner for longer.
NB: No fabric protector is 100% stain proof but a good quality fabric protector will give you the time to blot up any spillage using a clean dry white cloth or kitchen towel. The protector causes the spill to “bead” (unless it is hot liquid such as tea/coffee) and this gives you a little time to get to it and clean it up before it has the time to penetrate the surface and stain. Fabric protector will wear off over time, depending on how heavily the carpet or upholstery is used, therefore it should be reapplied regularly, preferably after each professional clean.
