Hard floor cleaning FAQs
How much does hard floor cleaning cost?
To avoid any unexpected costs, we tailor the price of our services to each job. It depends on the size of your floors, the type of flooring, any specific coatings, stains or damage and what type of finish you’d prefer. Please contact us for a free no-obligation quote.
How long does it take to clean a hard floor?
Similar to the price, the duration of a floor cleaning or restoration job depends on the size and nature of the job at hand. Many jobs can be completed within one working day, while larger, more complex projects may take longer. For example polishing a large floor of marble will take longer than cleaning tile and grout and this is dependent on the finish required. Where a sealant or dressing is required, we often will need to return when the floor is fully dry to complete this final step of the process. We’ll always provide an accurate estimate of how long it will take to minimise disruption for your home or your business.
How often do my hard floors need cleaning?
To keep your hard floors looking at their best, we recommend having them professionally cleaned at least once a year. However, high-traffic areas in a residential setting such as WCs, hallways, kitchens, utility rooms and boot rooms and shop floors, school hallways, WCs/restrooms or lobbies in a commercial setting will need to be cleaned more frequently.
What hard floor equipment do you use?
Our team is fully equipped with everything from small floor scrubbers and cleaning products to oscillating hard floor machinery, polishers and pressure washers. We’ll select the right equipment for each job to get the best results for your specific type of hard floors.
What types of hard floor can you clean?
We can strip, clean, seal and polish hard floors including: marble, granite, travertine, terrazzo, slate, limestone, terracotta, sandstone, ceramic, porcelain and grout hard floors.
