Our leather cleaning method

We clean the leather using a specialist leather cleaning solution. This step will remove any ingrained soil and grease from the leather. This involves gentle agitation into the grain of the leather which helps to achieve desired results.

After this initial cleaning process we will remove any last traces of emulsified soil and grease from the leather to prepare its surface for the leather finishing process.

We then apply a leather protection and conditioning agent onto the leather. This product helps maintain a proper moisture balance and helps resist the effects of daily soiling. It also ensures a long lasting supple feel.

Leather care tips

Avoid placing sharp objects on leather, while it is durable it is not damage proof
If you get a spillage, immediately blot up the spill with a clean dry white cloth or paper towel
Just as you are vacuuming your carpet or rugs, damp dust or vacuum the surface of your leather upholstery weekly
Clean and moisturise your leather regularly, at least every other month and apply a leather protector
Keep leather away from any heat source as it can dry the leather out and promote cracking. Also avoid direct sunlight as this can lead to leaching of the colour/fading
Have your leather professionally cleaned at least once a year and ask to have a leather protector applied.
