What information do we collect about you?

Redkite Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning collect personal information which includes your name, telephone number, email address and address. We also collect information about the soft furnishings or other areas that you wish us to clean or restore for you.

How is it collected?

We collect this information from you in person, when you telephone us to enquire about our services or when you complete an online contact form, for example, via our website or social media site or through other advertising or search engines we appear on such as YELL, Thompsons, Google, Bing etc, and then when we visit you during the course of the survey visit.

Why is it being collected & how we use the information about you?

We use the information we have collected about you in the formulation of a quotation which we may email to you, or following completion of any service we have provided when we ask you to complete a satisfaction survey or when we invoice you.  We may also use this information to contact you on the anniversary of any service we have provided to you or to tell you about any new or other services we provide that we think may be of interest to you.

Who will the data be shared with?

The data is not shared with anyone else, we use the data only for the purpose of providing you with a quote, invoice and for customer satisfaction surveys or to tell you about any new services we have to offer and we NEVER share your information or data with anyone else.

Marketing & Opting Out

We collect information about you when you register with us or place an order for services. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys, provide feedback and participate in competitions. Website usage information is collected using cookies.

You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes.  Please email  with OPT OUT in the subject title and we will remove your details from our database for marketing purposes, although if you are a customer of ours we are required by law to retain sales information for up to 7 years.

Access to your information and correction

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of all of your personal information please email or write to us at the address below in “how to contact us” section. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
